If you ever wanted to join a cult but were afraid of the commitment, come worship with us at the Temple of the Hogg. You are not required to give up all your worldly possessions to us (though encouraged) or to be alienated from your family (though not discouraged). Enter the Temple, and meet your new best friends and shamans. We are here to guide you to The Promised Land of sports, music, movies, and life. That is all hyperbole. We are just three friends that came up in the 80's and 90's and are now our parents' ages. With nothing left to look forward to other than sweet, sweet death, why not start an auditory cult seeking our peers who might have also gotten drunk on Boone's Farm or Jagermeister and vomited and passed out in the front yard. Perhaps you also pushed in the clutch while pushing the car out of the driveway and popping the clutch down the street so your parents wouldn't hear. NYE PT. 1
Our first and quite possibly only salvageable segment from the New Years Rockin' Eve Extravagance held here at Deerfield Studio South, aka G Dub Studio. Everybody put your hands together for our special guests, Messrs. Bobby Winn & Gannon Arnold!
At this point of the evening, we were still a few hours away from midnight & had yet to reach the slurred speech and increased voice volume that would gradually arrive as the night progressed. Multiple topics were bandied about to include but not limited to; Henderson State University frat days of yore & present, Bobby's mastery of grill & smoker, the return of Bobby Petrino, et cetera & so forth.
There is literally another 3 hours of recording from that night. Many things were said, theories were discussed, pontifications revealed, cogitations expressed, abstractions conferred. It is literally the mental equivalent of hacking through the densest part of the Amazon with a butter knife. But if there are true nuggets of wisdom, I will extract and share them with the whole, wide world.
