If you ever wanted to join a cult but were afraid of the commitment, come worship with us at the Temple of the Hogg. You are not required to give up all your worldly possessions to us (though encouraged) or to be alienated from your family (though not discouraged). Enter the Temple, and meet your new best friends and shamans. We are here to guide you to The Promised Land of sports, music, movies, and life. That is all hyperbole. We are just three friends that came up in the 80's and 90's and are now our parents' ages. With nothing left to look forward to other than sweet, sweet death, why not start an auditory cult seeking our peers who might have also gotten drunk on Boone's Farm or Jagermeister and vomited and passed out in the front yard. Perhaps you also pushed in the clutch while pushing the car out of the driveway and popping the clutch down the street so your parents wouldn't hear. The 2nd verse is as good as the 1st- if not better. This episode finds us concluding our discussion about NIL and college football, then rolling right into the NFL. Jay fills us in on the latest happenings with his Steelers and then Sir Christopher Steenis shows us why he is a natural in the studio by posing the question "Who is the greatest quarterback for each franchise?" But there's one catch; the conversation can't include one QB for two different teams- Tom Brady has to be either New England or Tampa Bay, etc. Believe me folks, there is some deep, contemplative rumination taking place in Deerfield Studios on the night of Monday Dec. 11th 2023.
